NextGen

We believe that as the parent of your children, you are the loudest voice and have greatest influence with your own kids. We want to partner with you as you walk with your kids.

To see every child and student known, valued, and thriving as they discover their identity in Christ, growing into a lifelong relationship with God, rooted in community, and living out their God-given purpose.

Why we exist

We exist to partner with parents as the primary disciple-makers of their children, equipping the next generation to know and follow Jesus.

We believe every child and student is created in the image of God, full of God-given worth and purpose: not a problem to be fixed, but a wonder to behold.

As we grow, we prioritize depth over size, believing we grow big by growing small through meaningful relationships and intentional discipleship.

We guide children and students to practice four things

  • Spend time with God
  • Spend time with others
  • Share their story
  • Use their gifts

What a joy to have children in the family

On Sunday mornings, you can expect our babies and preschoolers to be checked in and go directly to their unique spaces to be cared for and ministered to, by way of play and song.

Our elementary-aged kids will get checked in and join the family in the Worship Center at the start of the service. We love this time together because our kids get to experience how those older than them encounter Christ. It also is a blessing to help us as adults re-learn childlike faith and wonder. It is truly a special time.

After worship, we have a clear time in service where elementary-aged kids are invited with their leaders into the Children’s Worship Center for a fun and engaging time with friends while connecting to God and one another.

More than a youth group

Sunday evenings, 5:00 to 6:30 PM

We are a safe place where students will know that they are seen and loved. We are intentional about gathering to receive and release the love of God every time we meet. We practice with one another and pray about how to live our faith in every context of our lives. This happens in a wide variety of ways: food, fun, art, worship, games, laughter, etc.

Life is tough and we weren’t meant to go it alone. We work hard to build and maintain healthy friendships.

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35

For parents: during the Sunday morning worship service we offer students a place to write down big ideas, questions, or moments that stood out. It makes for a good conversation starter at home, and when Student Ministry gathers we have a jumping off point to keep walking out what God is saying to your teen.
